Dedicated to
Colette Patterns. With thanks for the
continuous bias tape tutorial, and apologies for the project.
And to
Janul. Thanks for the idea. Here's
your blue house:
Nekázanka is so narrow, and it was almost against the sun - this was the best I could do. The house is beautiful, though.
Hana - now I'm all excited !! I've heard of this method, but this is very clearly shown - whoweee!
ReplyDeleteOh - just a caution: they say to line up the lines you've drawn on the fabric, but I've found out a few milimeters are lost in the seam allowance, so you have to make an allowance for that in the line-up, and don't match up the lines exactly, otherwise they do not match up when you sew it. I hope that makes sense...
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks for the house! It´s so beautiful, I love it :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully it will make sense when I attempt it - and perhaps I should make some soon. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteCatching up on all the lovely goings on here. I must say you have a good eye when it comes to thrifting clothes!
ReplyDeleteJanul: You're welcome!
ReplyDeleteJodi: Thank you! It's something I've long aspired to have, so I'm glad to hear I do. :-)
